This pack of 22 x 28" Bright White 8-Ply 100% Cotton Museum Board from Archival Methods contains 5 boards that are designed for matting of fine prints, precious documents, traditional and digital photography. The 8-ply boards create a 1/8" separation between artwork and glazing.
The Cotton Museum Boards are acid and lignin-free and use alkaline or neutral sizing. No brightening agents are used and no yellow cast is present. All boards are buffered with calcium carbonate to ensure that a polluted environment won't cause paper's pH value to decrease with age.
Made from 100% Cotton fiber pulp (99% Alpha Cellulose) and does not contain any post consumer waste recycled pulp. The paper is free of metal particles, waxes, plasticizers and residual bleach peroxide. Sulfur content is less than 0.0008% reducible sulfur. Iron content does not exceed 150 ppm and copper does not exceed 6 ppm. No optical brightening agents are used in the pulp
Alkaline sizing is used for both internal and external sizing. No alum is used in the manufacturing process
