MicroCare's 2.5mm Connector Cleaning Stick (Exposed Tip) is a pack of 50 swabs that can help to get a fiber network running faster and more reliably. These cleaning sticks are for cleaning end-faces within alignment sleeves, such as bulkhead adapters or ports.
CleanStixx feature a high-purity, fibrous polymer tip, instead of cloth or foam which may leave residues. The tip is molded to a precise size so it spins off-center during cleaning. This improves cleaning results, even on the small end-faces.
In addition, the fibers in the tip spread during cleaning (red arrow) to grab particulate while capillary action wicks up liquids. The tip flexes, so only CleanStixx clean APC connectors.
