The 10x50 Razor HD Binoculars from Vortex fuse several proprietary optical technologies with a rubber-armored weather-sealed housing and ergonomic design, making this set of glasses ideal for birders and hunters alike. A 16.5mm eye relief and twist-up eyecups with multiple click-stop positions will provide a comfortable viewing distance for almost any observer.

Vortex outfitted the Razor HD series optics with a fully multicoated extra-low dispersion (ED) high-density (HD) lens system that maximizes light transmission and color fidelity. A 60° apparent viewing angle and 10 ft close-focus distance make the 10x50 model of the Razor HD great for close to mid-range observations. Phase-corrected prisms with dielectric multi-coating allow the optical path to render enhanced detail and contrast while preserving image brightness.

Complementing the high-transmission optics is a magnesium alloy housing that is waterproof and argon filled for fogproof performance. Protecting the exposed lens surfaces from dirt and moisture is Vortex's proprietary scratch-resistant ArmorTek coating. Enhancing the usability of the Razor HD housing is an open-bridge design that sheds excess weight, as well as contoured thumb rests that improve ergonomics and balance. The 10x50 Razor HD binoculars are backed by Vortex's lifetime warranty, and they come with flip-down objective covers, rainguard, and carrying case.

Simply awesome

Love the clarity and brightness of this optic. I use these hunting in the canyons of the Texas Panhandle. The HD glass gave me the advantage in low light situations and allowed me to evaluate game at great distances. This is a great product for experienced hunters that value the reliability and light gathering ability of this optic. It’s a must for big country hunting. Backed by the VIP warranty,, these optics are simply the best.

Incredible clarity and light gathering. Easy to get dialed in and extremely durable. If you intend to spend hours of glassing, you’ll be grateful for this quality set of optics!

Great high country binos

Great binos for high county glassing. I was worried about them being blurry from not being able to keep them stable, but that hasn’t been the case at all. They are even fine glassing through thick trees and close stuff. I run them on a tripod and am considering leaving the spotter at home during the hunt to cut the weight. I can see plenty with these. Get yourself a pair.

This optic is so clear that I replaced my 12x50 diamondback binoculars with the 10x42 Razor. The extra clarity made up for the smaller magnification power in my opinion.

Impressive for the money

I have Swarovski NL 10x42. Most of my friends are never going to pay that much. Every time I pick up these Razor HD I'm just amazed how good they are. I enjoy using them as much or more. There well built. The 50mm objective, the luxurious 5.0 exit pupil, equals high performance. Just wish I bought the UHD! For the money 1/3 of the price and 1/2 the price the value is incredible. Vortex also has a great compact inexpensive tripod adapter. Try these10x Razors on a tripod WOW, brilliant! I'm looking at ducks out on the lake, then, some warblers come up behind me I can pop them off the tripod and hand hold them, then instantly put them back on the tripod. Its starting to rain, pop them off and run for the car.!! You don't have to have deep pockets for great glass.

I have purchased 4 bino's and one scope from Vortex. I will never look at another company again for optics. The Razor 10x50 that I own are the best, and worth every penny I spent on them. Vortex has been in my opinion the best bang for your buck. Some of the ones I have purchased, and I have have given away and are now discontinued which is disappointing since they work so well, but regardless I know Vortex will match up no matter what if I/they have issues. I am looking at purchasing the Razor 11-33 spotting scope for me, and a pair of diamond back 10x50 for my cousin to use this season. If you are looking for quality glass at a great price look no further! Vortex for Life!

Excellent Quality

It was time to purchase binoculars to replace a broken Cabelas brand that I had for over 10 years. The mid price range Cabelas binos were sufficient but had their quirks with low light, color, and detail at distance. I decided to purchase the Vortex Razor HD 10x42. I was excited when I took them out to the field for a spin, and was very impressed. The image quality was crisp and clear. I was able to spot several black tail deer at 800 yards out. In the 100 degree heat of northern California A zone hunting, I easily made out a small fork bedded in the shade of a bush at 450 yards. I never before experienced a high quality optic like this in the field as they are bright and the detail image is very sharp. They are solid but not too heavy, with no shake in the hands. I like that once I moved the barrels to fit my face, they stayed there all day with no play. The eye cups and ergonomics were comfortable for hours of glassing. I dialed the eye cups all the way down and was able to use my sunglasses while viewing through the large ocular lenses. The Vortex chest harness is ok and great if you don’t already have one. The bino harness is light weight with storage and flips up towards your chest. I prefer my Kuiu bino harness for ease of one hand use as the cover rotates away from the chest, and is very comfortable. Overall these binoculars are excellent, and I call them my eagle vision. I won’t need another pair since Vortex has a lifetime warranty. So glad I made the jump to a quality optic.

Razor HD Binos are made in Japan from what I can find. China does make some of their product line like Crossfire, Diamondback, and Viper Red Dot Sights.
