question

Is this compatable with the Qflash QF8C trio ( will it fire it from my camera)?
Asked by: Anonymous
The Quantum has a Quantum FreeXWire receiver built into it. If you wanted to use the RadioPopper transmitter this would not be compatible unless you connected a RadioPoppper receiver to the flash.

question

with this work with the Fuji X cameras?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, the RadioPopper Nano Transmitter can be used in the standard ISO hot shoe of Fujifilm X-series cameras and wirelessly trigger an off-camera flash connected to a RadioPopper Nano Receiver (B&H # RANANOR). Do note that these transmitters/receives do not transmit TTL information, therefore, you would have to set the output power on the flash manually.

question

Can the Nano Transmitter be used with a speedlite mounted on camera?
Asked by: Anonymous
The Nano transmitter does not have a sync port. It can only be hooked up to the camera via the cameras hotshoe. So it cannot work with a flash on the cameras hotshoe.

I bought the Transmitter to use with my Smith Victor Strobe Set. I've never used it with a speed light so I don't know.

question

Can I use this as a shutter remote?
Asked by: Chad S.
I believe so however I've had nothing but problems with my set on nanos. My original set was sent to the home office here in the States. They couldn't find a problem and sent me a new set. I could only get the transmitter to work on my hot shoes by depressing down on the unit 'just right' to get my strobes to fire.Short answer do like I did and buy a set of Pocket Wizard Plus X units. I've wasted money on other less expensive units and since I've gotten the Plus X set all my miss fires have gone away. Pros use Pocket Wizards for a reason, reliability.

question

Hello, can the transmitter control each receiver one at a time or in groups, say if I wanted r-1 and r-3 to fire, then set the transmitter to fire r3 and r-4 or then fire r1, r-2, r-3 and r-4? I hope I asked that right..? Thanks..
Asked by: Robert H
The transmitter can do both functions. Both the trx and receivers have a 4 channel selection. Set the trx to ch 4 and any rec. set on 4 will fire. To trigger a rec. individualy, just set all recievers on different channels and and set the trx. to the channel of which ever one your want to fire.
