This lightweight charcoal DSLR Wrist Strap from Joby attaches to a DSLR or mirrorless camera. It is made from a braided nylon cord that has a cord lock cinch stopper to better adjust for a proper fit around your wrist. If you drop the camera while it is attached to your arm, the strap becomes tight to prevent the camera from swinging.

To attach the wrist strap, simply insert the attachment belt into the side-lugs of your camera. There is a buckle on the attachment belt for adjusting the distance from the camera to your wrist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still hanging on 4,000 miles later. :0) Highly recommend. About 98% of my photos are taken while I'm riding on the back of my husbands motorcycle. I NEEDED to make sure my camera wouldn't drop while at highway speed. I use to wrap the big neck strap, that came with my camera, around my wrist which was really encumbrance~some, but strong. After using such a big thick strap I wasn't to sure about my new Joby strap. If you ride you know about the bulky safety gear. Being able to get rid of any extra bulk is a blessing so I gave it a try. 4,000 highway miles later its still on & not one adjustment. Believe me, I check it every time we stop. Highly recommend this strap. Not one complaint. :0)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works really well with a mirrorless camera I got this strap for my mirrorless camera because the included neck strap took too much space in my small camera bag, and it always got in the way when shooting. I was afraid that this was going to be too big for a mirrorless, but it's just the right size for my Sony A6000, it takes up very little space in by bag, it's not getting in the way when shooting, and it feels really secure. I'm not sure how well it works with the camera on a tripod yet, it may catch wind and introduce camera shake if not secured to the tripod, but that's true for any strap. I also would have preferred if it was black instead of grey, even though I don't think the grey one would catch to much attention like the green one would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Joby dslr strap Okay, this thing is secure, sturdy, and attractive. Unlike a hand-strap, you will need to use second hand from time to time (sometimes when getting it on, often when adjusting, and always when removing). But that is part of it being secure. I have a Pentax K30 with a 55-300 lens and there has been no issue with the weight. You don't want to just walk around with the camera dangling from this, but the strap will make sure it doesn't land in the mud, in the lake, or on the pavement. There is a question for the rating of fun that I thought was odd, but it is an auxiliary kind of fun. My camera is more usable. That, and I find myself carrying it with two or three fingertips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong, reliable, easy Just what i needed for mt oylmpus em1, with the 14-40 and heavier 40-150 lens. I also took someones recommendation and connected a quick release pin on the camera so i can go from wrist strap to shoulder strap in a flash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent strap for a mirrorless camera While shooting in Bangkok I wanted a way to carry my Sony NEX-7 in situations where I needed both hands. I started with a neck strap but the camera bounced around on my chest, and I looked like a tourist. My next solution was to get a belt pouch and carry the camera on my belt. This worked well but now I was concerned about dropping it or having it bumped out of my hand while shooting. The Joby wrist strap was a very good complement to my belt pouch. It completes my field carrying system. I like the design and so far it's worked fine. One of the main reasons for getting a mirrorless camera is portability, and a neck strap is overkill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product It's a great product, it does its job, that is, it tightens around your wrist if you accidentaly drop the camera. So I feel the system is very secure. Why four stars. When I want to get it off I would hold the camera with my left hand and I would pull my right hand away. At that point, the strap will of course tighten around my wrist instead of letting go, so I have to loosen it with my left hand to be able to release my right hand. It's kind of annoying... I know the strip is just doing its job so maybe giving it four stars is wrong. I wish I could give it 4.9 stars. Oh well...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I was looking for a solution for a convention that would allow me to not have to worry about having a neck or sling strap in the way, I decided on one of these in happy green, I have a cane so I actually have the strap on the left side of the camera, and its worked like a charm, I particularly like the self closing feature keeps it nice and sturdy ;) I like the first one so much I got a second for my other camera body, my only wish is that it came in more bright and shiny colors, at this phase in my life I like to look like a tourist LoL.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does the trick. I've never liked neck camera straps and for the last few years I've gone without any type of fastening around the camera, itself, while worrying that I could actually drop it. Well, this wrist strap solves this problem. I'm using it with a Sony a6300 - so a small, light camera. And it just gives me piece of mind that the camera will not fall from my hand and hit the ground. I still hold the camera by its grip - I don't let it dangle - but the wrist strap means I no longer have to worry about losing my grip. In case of a drop the band tightens against the wrist and prevents a fall. That's all I wanted and it performs perfectly.
