Think Tank Photo TurnStyle 5 V1 Overview

The lightweight blue slate TurnStyle 5V1 Sling Camera Bag from Think Tank Photo is water-resistant and holds a large mirrorless camera with two lenses or a small mirrorless camera with four lenses inside interior dividers within the main zippered camera compartment. It also accommodates a small 7.9" tablet in a dedicated padded zippered pocket at the back of the bag. For holding accessories, there are assorted pockets throughout the sling.

The TurnStyle bag is convertible from a camera sling worn over your shoulder to a photo belt pack worn around your waist. For converting the bag, use the padded strap that detaches from one end via its slip-in clip. This clip can slide into one of two nylon webbed loops. When inserting the clip into the loop on the padded tab at the side, you can wear the bag like a belt pack around your waist. When placing the clip into the loop at the top, you transform your bag into a shoulder sling. The TurnStyle 5V1 can also be carried using a grip handle at the top.

question

Will this hold a D7100 with low mm zoom lens? Looking for smaller sling bag than turnstyle 10
Asked by: cecil
Definitely go for the Think Tank one size larger. . . I carry an M Leica with the small 35mm Summicron f2 lens mounted, plus one extra battery and charger. . . and it IS tight!

question

I am really looking more for something to carry a lens or two with maybe a thing or two extra (small battery) type things. I carry my camera with a carry strap so it is always ready. Do you thing this size would work for me?
Asked by: Barbara
Great bag for a 2/3 camera (mine is an Olympus) with zoom lens plus two more fixed lenses, extra battery, camera cable and such. Super easy to access and provides good protection. Brilliant design.

question

Does it fit a Canon T6i with Canon 70-200mm f/4L mounted on it? If so, any space left for anything else?
Asked by: Maria Adelaide
I don't think it will fit. I have a 5DMKIII and the 70-200mm and it won't fit. It will fit lengthwise with no room to spare but the camera body is too tall and you can't get the bag zipped. I use this bag for my small mirrorless and the TurnStyle 20 to fit the 5DMKIII with the 70-200mm. With that bag I can still also fit another standard lens with it as well.

question

Can you fit a Canon 5D Mark III with a 24-70 or a 24-104 in this bag?
Asked by: JASON S.
For reference I have a TurnStyle 10 for my Nikon D810 w/24-70mm 2.8 + 55mm 1.8 + my iPad mini. They are a close fit. It doesn't give me much room for my filters and extra batteries. I think you would be much better served going with the TurnStyle 10. Hope this helps
