The Complete Home Theater Experience

There was a time when going to the cinema was the only way to be part of a unique experience. Now, LG OLED allows you to enjoy the best shows and movies at home with cinematic quality.

Cinematic Details That Matter

The best shows and movies deserve to be seen with the best TV ever. That means outstanding visuals paired with extraordinary sound.

Enjoy brilliant brights and the deepest darks for infinite contrast, full richness, detail and an exceptional viewing experience, closer to what filmmakers intended.

Straight from state-of-the-art theaters to the home, Dolby Atomos ® takes the incredibly realistic sound of OLED to a whole new immersive level.

High Dynamic Range Done Right

LG Super UHD and OLED TVs support both HDR10 and Dolby Vision*, delivering the look that filmmakers intended, while assuring playability of current and upcoming HDR streaming content.

HDR Content Step by Step

Filmmakers strive to tell stories with the greatest believability possible. There are several steps in the creation process: Images are captured by a camera, then post-produced (edited, color-corrected, etc.), and then mastered — the critical "finishing touches" — before a movie or show is delivered to viewers.

HDR Televisions

The final step? The display—until now, no television could reproduce an HDR image. But just because a TV can accept and process an HDR signal doesn't mean it's capable of realizing the full potential of this amazing new technology.

Learn the facts and choose a TV that fully realizes your HDR Experience.

The Science of Dolby Vision

All HDR masters contain something called metadata; information encoded into the signal that dictates the color and brightness. Only Dolby Vision utilizes dynamic metadata, which sets individual color and brightness levels frame by frame. This results in a more accurate representation of how the image should look.

By comparison, generic HDR10 calls for static metadata; a single average of this color and brightness level for the entire program.

Design is in the details

Look closely, at what we call Picture-on-Glass, and see how slim is redefined. Wall-mounted or on a tabletop, each nuance of the design masterfully complements the innovative technology.

Now Available on Select LG TVs

Only LG Super UHD TVs feature HDR Super, which includes premium Dolby Vision in addition to industry-standard HDR10 together in one TV. And 2016-model OLED 4K TVs offer the same combination of HDR support, plus perfect black and cinematic color.
