EARasers M1-S overview

  • 1Description

The small EARasers Musician's HiFi Earplugs are designed to protect your hearing at concerts, rehearsals, or in other settings where you are exposed to loud sounds. The earplugs are made of medical-grade silicone that conforms to the shape of your ear and feature a patented open design that allows sound to travel closer to your eardrum before passing through a variable filter. The filter is designed to reduce sound in the damaging range around 3150 Hz by up to 19 dB while preserving clarity in the rest of the musical spectrum. The earplugs are as close to custom-molded earplugs as you can get without an actual fitting, thanks to parent company Persona Medical's 45 years of hearing-assistance experience. The small-sized earplugs are 0.75 cm wide and fit the majority of women, younger males, and some men who prefer a farther-in-the-ear canal fit..

Small: For women, younger males, and people with smaller than average ear canals (0.75 cm wide)

Medium: For adult males and persons with average sized ear canals (1 cm wide)

Large: For adult males with larger than average ear canals (1.25 cm wide)

EARasers M1-S reviews

Musician's HiFi Earplugs (Small) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wish the build quality was much better I had these shipped to Malaysia because they weren't available in Asia and that basically doubled the actual cost of the product. They fit really well but are not good for environments that are too loud (as stated on the packaging). However, after just over 2 months use (less than 10 uses), the left plug handle broke off, so I will have to get them replaced unless I wait until I get home to use tweezers to get them out. They'd definitely get 5/5 if they were built to last!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, good price I bought these for live music concerts, which I attend frequently. I saw Helmet for the first time I tried them out and was afraid they wouldn't be able to stand up to that kind of punishment. But they did. And the sound was clear, unlike foamy earplugs, which ruin most frequencies, but were a necessary evil. Now I can enjoy full frequency sound, just a lowered volume. Recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent quality - glad I ordered small I have not had a chance to try these yet and am waiting to attend a concert to try them. Having said that, they look to be very decent quality and look as though they will perform as stated. I was worried about whether to order small or medium but glad I chose small. I did read online that the majority order small so I went with that. With in ear headphones, I usually use the medium silicone to fit my ears but with these units, because they are harder they do not squish down the same as silicone adapters found on earphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from uncompromised enjoyment these do get very close to what a flat response would sound like. wore them to a electronic bass filled Moderat concert and they tamed the frequencies quite well withou losing the sense of dynamics too much. I A/B'd, with and without them and, for the price, these plugs are a definite bang for buck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, for special puroses These do not make things really quite; they aren't something that you'd want for an airplane or other noisy environment. They work well for playing live music (or listening to it) because they reduce the volume slightly without distorting what you hear. They work well to avoid damaging your hearing while listening to music. Also, the small isn't small enough for a child. The back of the included case shows an extra-small option, but I'm not sure that those are actually available.
