Spieltek VR-M2 Overview

  • 1Description

Journey to new worlds with the Spieltek VR-M2 Virtual Reality Headset. The VR-M2 works with your compatible smartphone to deliver you an immersive VR experience. This headset is ideal for viewing games, 360° and 3D videos, apps, and more. Fully adjustable and engineered for long-term comfort, the VR-M2 provides a 95 - 100° field of view. Additionally, its configurable lenses can be set to your specific viewing needs, so you'll get the comfort and experience that best suits you. For a more interactive VR experience, the VR-M2 features an integrated magnet button that lets you interface with your display by simulating a screen touch.

The VR-M2 is designed to deliver a premium, uninterrupted VR experience. It was engineered with a "feet and foam" design, which improves how your smartphone is held within the headset. Unlike traditional spring-loaded clamp designs that can interrupt your session by pressing down on your phone's buttons, the VR-M2 securely holds your phone without making unwanted contact with the controls. The VR-M2 also prevents overheating by offering space between the frame and visor and provides access for wired headphones. Lastly, a clear visor allows you to use your phone's camera for taking pictures or running augmented reality applications. Combined, these features allow for a more seamless and immersive VR experience.

VR Experience
You can have an immersive VR experience simply by inserting your smartphone into the VR-M2 headset. You can watch 360° and 3D videos, play games, and use augmented reality apps.
Magnet Button
The integrated magnet button adds interaction to your VR experience. The magnet button simulates a screen touch so you can select and choose items on your screen with a simple push of the button.
VR shouldn't tire you out unless you want it to. The VR-M2 headset weighs less than a pound and won't tax your neck or shoulder muscles, even with long-term use.
Fully Adjustable
You can configure the headset for the most comfortable performance. The adjustable head straps let the headset sit comfortably on your face. The focal length and interpupillary width of the lenses can be set to avoid eye strain and keep your picture sharp and clear.
Access for Headphones and Charger Cable
You can use wired headphones with the headset, and you don't have to stop what you're doing to charge your phone. We designed the headset with a gap between the visor and the headset so you can access your phone's headphone jack and charging port.
Tinted Visor
The tinted visor minimizes bright light while still allowing you to use your camera with the headset, allowing for the use of augmented reality apps.

Spieltek VR-M2 Reviews

VR-M2 Virtual Reality Smartphone Headset with Magnet Button is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gift for 13-yr old grandson This would receive a 5* rating, if the circular magnet hadn't been broken in half when the package was initially opened. It then fell off when my grandson attempted to move it. The 2 pieces cannot be rejoined and, being magnets, repel each other. This eliminates some of the intended features of the headset. Other than that, he and everyone else in the house loved the headset for the VR features. They were watching many YouTube vids and oohing and aahing at their trips through other countries and on roller coasters. I have transferred the SquareTrade policy to him and his parents. Hopefully, they will put in a claim due to the broken magnet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, Simple, Lightweight Prior to using this product, I was using Google Cardboard to view VR content, but I wanted to find a more substantial headset that I could use handsfree. For the price, the Spieltek VR-M2 is a great deal everything I was looking for in a simple lightweight VR viewer. The picture is wide and clear, and there's no hindrance on video content. Highly recommend!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the Better One for the Price Advertised It is very hard to hold and most of the time you will feel heavy to breathe. And the Quality also not looks good as advertised. I will not recommend this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wouldn't recommend buying this Comfortable, but the magnet used to interact with the phone doesn't really work, so you end up having to start your VR video and then stick your phone in the headset and then put it on, all very awkward. From just a straight viewing perspective the headset is fine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Decent but issues So to begin with this review off right. I got this because I purchased a phone on here and it came with this and a power bank. So it's decent. But not good or great. I got it once and the mask thing fell off, I put it back on with some hard pushing. It DOES come with a head strap, unlike the picture shows you. Headstrap is one of the great things about it. So I returned the first one because the supposed button did NOT WORK. So they gave me a full exchange so a week later, today. I receive it, it's great it's comfortable, better everything. Until I try and use the button. BUTTON DOES NOT WORK the SECOND TIME. So I'm still having the same issue so I take off the mask and there is nothing that the supposed button is supposed to press. Also while I was looking and this was brand new supposedly never used it, and there were scratches on the lenses. Why I have no idea. I don't know what to do with it. Pros Comfort (Nice comfortable padding) Straps (Don't have to hold it onto your face) Cons BUTTON DOES NOT WORK the SECOND TIME Exchanged it, and same issue Lenses scratched on the exchange DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT BUY this, you can find a way better one for cheaper. With a fully functioning button, but I can't really complain cause I got this for free. But still TERRIBLE BUTTON.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from For the money its not horrible I paid under $40, but wish I could have found a better one for just a bit more. Its nice that it has adjustable focus, easy to put a phone in. Fit could be snugger as there is a little light seeping through. Magnet button doesnt work for me, Im using a iphone SE. But besides the ability to independently focus the lens (which are plastic) its not that greater than a $10 headset.
