Designed for daily tasks while on the go, the Microsoft Surface Go 10" 128GB Multi-Touch Tablet provides an optimal balance of laptop performance, tablet portability, and a responsive touchscreen.

The 10" PixelSense display, powered by integrated Intel HD Graphics 615, features an 1800 x 1200 resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and 216 ppi. The screen also has 10-point touch support, and when paired with a Surface Pen (sold separately), can support up to 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The screen also features Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There is an 8MP rear camera for taking clear photos and videos while the 5MP front camera allows for HD video calls. You can also use the front camera to securely log in using face recognition, thanks to Windows Hello. The kickstand supports up to 165 degrees, allowing you to switch between studio and tablet mode.

The system is powered by a 7th Gen 1.6 GHz Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y dual-core processor. It also has 8GB of RAM and a 128GB solid-state drive. If you need more storage, you can expand it with the microSD media card reader. Connect to the internet via 802.11ac Wi-Fi and pair compatible peripherals with Bluetooth 4.1 technology to free up its USB Type-C port for charging or another device. If you're looking to use the optional Surface Type Cover, you can connect it to the Surface Go via the Surface Connect port. The operating system installed is Windows 10 S, which is a slimmed down version of Windows 10 that can only utilize apps within the Windows Store.

Microsoft Surface Go

Portability and Performance
Weighing in at 1.15 pounds, the Surface Go is lightweight yet packs an Intel Pentium processor needed to handle daily tasks. Also, it can last up to 9 hours of video playback.
Touch
Easily and naturally navigate through applications and programs within Windows 10 S with the touch of your fingertips thanks to the 10" PixelSense display with touch capabilities. It has an 1800 x 1200 resolution and thin bezels for a more immersive viewing experience. The screen also supports the Surface Pen (available separately).

Windows 10 S

Microsoft-Verified Security

Performance That Lasts
Windows 10 S is optimized for performance, so you'll be able to boot and load applications quickly. Moreover, Microsoft's Edge browser runs fast and safe, so you can stream high-definition content and switch across multiple apps without delay.
Familiar Windows 10 Features

There's also Cortana, Windows Ink, and Windows Hello for password-free access. If there's something missing, head over to the Windows Store to search for the app that you need.
Cloud Convenience Plus Apps
Microsoft OneDrive is integrated with Windows 10 S, so you'll be able to save, access, and sync your files to the cloud. If you need certain tools or to run non-Store apps, you can easily upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.

Microsoft MCZ-00001 Reviews

Surface Go 10- 128GB Multi-Touch Tablet (Wi-Fi Only) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for every day use I had a Surface 3, the spiritual predecessor of this tablet. The Surface Go is much faster in the 8GB/128GB SSD format. For every day light computing use, the tablet is great and does everything very quickly. Browsing the web, watching videos and running desktop Microsoft Office is all flawless. The SSD is much faster than the eMMC storage - I would definitely suggest getting the NVME SSD. Booting Windows is instantaneous. In a pinch, you can run heavier applications. Photoshop CS6 runs ok and you can edit some photos. I also installed the PC game Street Fighter 5 - that will work on low settings at 720p resolution while playing other people online. Remember that this is a low power device so it will be slower at running heavy applications than a desktop or laptop computer. Temper your performance expectations. So for $550, you get a device that is the size of an iPad but you can run full PC applications. The only thing to keep in mind is to turn off Windows S mode and avoid the Windows App Store if you want to use your Surface for productivity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Budget Tablet PC on the Market! This tablet PC doesnt come with the fancy accessories and wont be a full laptop replacement, but it does exactly what its designed to do. This thing is amazing for travel; just the right size and feel. The touchscreen, storage capacity and build quality are amazing for this price point. Im a Mac user, but hate iPads, so this is the perfect alternative to run full applications with very few restrictions. This is not a gaming machine, so dont expect that! However, it handles multitasking productivity incredibly well, and plays HD videos flawlessly. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Portable Always Connected Windows Device As a self employed IT consultant, I need remote service capability to my client networks, regardless of wifi availability. This device has replaced my Surface 3 LTE, and is it smaller, lighter and faster. Additionally, the keyboard and track pad are greatly improved. Battery life is less than previous generation, but not a big problem for me. Dont compare this to an iPad, it is a FULL windows 10 Pro (after upgrade) computer, yet not a burden to carry around everywhere, and infinitely more capable. I am also a huge One Note user (constantly taking notes with the Surface Pen), and with this device I always have access to all of my important information wherever I am. Keep in mind that like all things Microsoft, it takes a bit of tweaking to get solid performance, but Windows 10 is constantly improving. Great device (in fact I own 2).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great travel computer with plenty of power and storage. As a photographer who travels a lot, the Surface Go is a great travel computer with plenty of power and storage. I certainly wouldnt replace my desktop with it, but its great for packing light and uploading my pictures until I return home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything I heard was true I immediately switched to full windows 10 and installed my non-Microsoft apps with no bad surprises.  I travel a lot overseas and will make it my travel computer instead of my heavy laptop or Android tablet that wont run Windows programs. It is surprisingly fast for a lightweight cpu.  I did get the 8 GB memory and 128 GB storage version.  And the B&H price was the best of any other vendor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Far, So Good as a 2ndary Device I use it at a secondary device to my Surface Book 2. Other than the mediocre battery life (which must improve on the 2nd Gen version) it has met my expectations!
