Ultrabooks™ and Intel® Wireless Display

The Intel Ultrabook is great for mobile use. Its ultraportable design makes it easy to travel with while its Ivy Bridge Intel Core processor and solid-state drive give you the performance you need to stay productive. However, while most Utlrabooks have high-quality screens, they lack size, which may make watching a movie or viewing photos a little lackluster.

Hands-On Review: ASUS CUBE with Google TV

Last week a peculiarly shaped device appeared on my desk. It was a compact, solid square box with a rather alien aesthetic, by which I mean it looked like something out of a Star Trek episode. The perfectly square cube was dark gray with long diagonal grooves across its entire surface.

New Sony X900 Series 4K Ultra HD TV

Sony has just announced the release of their first 4K Ultra HD TV for retail sale. The new X900 Series 4K Ultra HD 3D Internet TV is also one of the industry’s first available 4K televisions. Available in a 55-inch or 65-inch model, the X900 features a 3D LCD panel with 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD 4K resolution. Amazingly, that’s four times the resolution of a standard Full HD 1920 x 1080p television.

New Sharp LED TV Lineup for 2013

There’s no arguing that Sharp has continually been at the forefront of consumer trends, and for 2013, the CES tradeshow in Las Vegas made it clear that the consumer is demanding larger TV panels that offer more ways to “connect” with media sources. Taking this knowledge to heart, Sharp surpassed every one of their major competitors by equipping 85% of all their 2013 retail TVs with “Smart” Internet connectivity.

Are You Smarter Than a Smart TV?

The new digital divide is between smart TVs and not-so-smart TVs. That’s because top-of-the-class television sets today function more like computers than the passive monitors of even a few years ago. The newest TVs are Wi-Fi-capable, embed dual processors and sport USB and Ethernet jacks.

Terk Technologies Indoor and Outdoor Antennas for Getting Free HDTV

When you’re looking to cut cable’s ballooning costs, a one-time purchase of a TV antenna can be significantly less than even a one-month cable bill. Best of all, there’s no monthly subscription fee.

Be Sure Your TV Is Set Up for High Definition

Too many viewers bring home a gorgeous HDTV set, yet never watch a show in high definition. The set is either hooked up using the wrong inputs, or the program itself is from an inferior source.

Sony TVs Are Upgradable to 3D

You'll typically use a new TV for the better part of a decade, so even if you're skeptical about 3D, you could well change your mind. That's one reason Sony is offering models that can be easily turned fully 3D with an optional emitter. The KDL-HX800 series  in 40-, 46- and  55-inch screen sizes is ready to extend the picture to the tip of your nose when you decide the time is right for 3D.
