ASUS N Series notebook computers are designed to meet the needs of photographers, videographers, video editors, graphic designers and gamers. Winners of a 2012 Red Dot Design Award, these two N-Series models are the 15.6-inch N56VZ-DS71 and 17.3-inch N76VZ-DS71. The 15.6-inch model features a 750GB hard drive and weighs 6 pounds, while the 17.3-inch model features a 1TB hard drive and weighs 7.94 pounds. But other than size, weight and storage space, the two notebooks contain the same hardware.
Both N Series notebooks feature 8GB of memory and are powered by 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 processors, which 
can be overclocked to 3.3 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost technology. Both screens have a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, making them ideal for native HD work, and the ASUS 30-Day Zero Bright Dot Guarantee ensures that not a single one of those 2,073,600 pixels will be defective. The display in both notebooks is driven by an nVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics processor with 2GB of dedicated memory and it supports DirectX 11 and Shader Model 5.0.
