HP has announced the 13.3" Elite Dragonfly G2 Multi-Touch Laptop, which is the successor to the Elite Dragonfly. The Elite Dragonfly G2 now features 11th Gen Intel® Core™ processors with integrated Intel® Iris Xe Graphics™ for added performance. You can configure the Elite Dragonfly G2 with either 8GB or 16GB of 4266 MHz RAM, as well as either a 256GB or 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. The 13.3" display features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution. The screen also has multi-touch support and a 360° hinge so you can use the Elite Dragonfly G2 in different modes, including tablet. The Elite Dragonfly G2 keeps its slim, portable design, weighing just 2.18 pounds.
Keep up with news, emails, and projects by connecting to wireless networks with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). While the integrated keyboard and touchpad work well, if you need to use a mouse or the optional HP Stylus, you can utilize Bluetooth 5.0. For ports, the Elite Dragonfly G2 now features two Thunderbolt™ 4 ports with USB4, DisplayPort, and Power Delivery support. Thunderbolt™ 4 features up to 40 Gb/s data throughput and can output to two 4K displays or a single 8K display. Speaking of outputting to an external display, there is also an HDMI 2.0b port. Need to connect an older USB device? There is a single USB Type-A port, too.
While portability, performance, and connectivity are essential for the mobile business professional, so is security. The HP Elite Dragonfly G2 features secure ways to log in, including an integrated fingerprint reader and an IR webcam that supports Windows Hello. The webcam also features Sure Shutter, which is a dedicated key on the keyboard to turn off the camera, protecting you from unauthorized surveillance. Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) is the installed operating system, which features added security benefits, such as BitLocker disk encryption.
