After months of rumors and speculations, Microsoft officially announced the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, a disc-free version of the Xbox One S. With 1TB of storage capacity, you'll have plenty of space to save your favorite games. One of the advantages digital games have over physical discs is that you can preorder and pre-install digital games before the release date, so you can play as soon as the clock strikes midnight. Another advantage is your digital game library follows you wherever you go. This means you can sign into your account on any Xbox One and have access to all your favorite games. The All-Digital Edition also offers a small, yet very effective, quality-of-life feature… which is you no longer need to change the disc whenever you want to switch games. Simply select the game you want to play in the Home screen and press A. Like other Xbox One consoles, the All-Digital Edition also saves your games, saves, and backups to the cloud for safekeeping.

The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition comes with three digital games included. Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, and Forza Horizon 3 are all available for you to play with the purchase of this disc-free Xbox One S. For online multiplayer features, you'll have to spring for an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Microsoft also offers Game Pass (also sold separately), which provides access to more than 100 Xbox games, with new games being added regularly. The Xbox One S also supports a wide variety of streaming apps, such as Netflix, Amazon, and more, so you'll be able to enjoy your favorite TV shows and movies in 4K HDR.
