Large bezels can often be a major distraction when attempting to focus on that important document, PowerPoint presentation, video, or whatever else you may be viewing on your monitor. NEC has the solution with its own Ultra-Narrow Bezel IPS Panel, the EX241UN, available with or without a stand; a great option if the monitor is being purchased to mount directly on the wall. The EX241UN is also available with the NEC SpectraViewII Color Calibration Kit, which includes a copy of NEC's SpectraViewII software and a Datacolor Spyder Calibration sensor. Regardless of the version, this LED backlit, Full HD monitor offers bezels measuring just 0.8 mm around the entire display, making it convenient for multi-monitor configurations and even larger display arrangements, such as video walls.

In addition to the reduced-size bezels, this NEC monitor also features a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 6ms response time for a more dynamic picture with reduced ghosting. On the back of the monitor you will find a plethora of connectivity options, including DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D and VGA inputs, making it easy to plug various multimedia sources directly into the monitor. Additionally, this NEC comes equipped with Ambix4, allowing users to connect up to four inputs (DisplayPort, VGA, and two DVI-D) and switch easily between each signal with just the push of a button.

NEC has included with this monitor a variety of its own proprietary technologies to further enhance the end user viewing experience. The enhanced 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles are backed up by NEC XtraView+ designed to reduced color shift and distortion within the screen when looking at the display from various angles. Both TileComp and TileMatrixx technologies assist in the configuration and management of video-wall organization, complete with advanced On Screen Display controls.
