Western Digital displayed their 2TB, 3TB & 4TB My Cloud drives. Each drive has an Ethernet connection that allows you to create a personal cloud, and access it from wherever you have Internet access. There's an Android and iOS app, as well as PC and Mac desktop applications. The Mac and PC software allows you to perform backups.
The drives are compatible with popular cloud services like Google Drive, SkyDrive, and Dropbox. The My Cloud is a no-charge cloud-storage solution, so it can be used to add capacity to your existing cloud service. Your existing cloud will recognize the drive and sync the added storage. There's also a USB 3.0 port on the rear, so you can connect other drives as your storage needs increase.
