SanDisk Wins the Race to 512GB

SanDisk has officially become the first to cross the finish line in the race to reach 512GB of storage on an SD memory card, with the 512GB Extreme Pro UHS-I U3 SDXC Memory Card. While many manufacturers have approached 128GB or even 256GB recently, SanDisk is the first to reach such a high capacity. In addition to the 512GB version, SanDisk also offers the Extreme Pro U3 SDXC Memory Cards in both 128GB and 256GB capacities.

These cards feature UHS Speed Class 3 recording speed for high-resolution 4K video, and with write speeds up to 90 MB/s (600X) and read speeds up to 95 MB/s (633X), these cards can also handle continuous burst-mode shooting from your DSLR with ease. In addition to capturing photos in burst mode, these cards meet the demands of professionals who require a card capable of shooting both 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) video and Full HD (1920 x 1080) video.

SanDisk has also upped the ante with built-in Advanced Wear Leveling and an Error Correction Code engine to provide improved endurance and reliability. These cards also include one year downloadable RescuePro data recovery software, which helps to recover lost or deleted files. As with many of the memory cards offered by SanDisk, these Extreme Pro UHS-I U3 SD Memory Cards are built to endure―they come  X-Ray proof, waterproof, and temperature proof, allowing you to take them to the ends of the earth and back to capture that perfect shot, and a limited lifetime warranty provides added peace of mind.
