Both smart printers offer similar features, with the 9020 providing a bit more speed—24 ppm in black and 20 ppm in color or up to 39 ppm when set to draft mode. The 9010 is certainly no slouch, however, reaching an impressive 22 ppm in black and 18 ppm in color, and draft speeds of up to 32 ppm. Both printers will handle high volumes with ease, backing this up with monthly duty cycles of 30,000 pages and 25,000 pages for the 9020 and 9010, respectively.

Being “smart” printers, these models feature some Smart Tasks to make your life easier. This allows you to set up tasks that will eliminate some steps in your most often used features, such as scanning to the cloud or creating editable documents when scanning from your phone or printer. Built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity unlocks plenty of other functions, as well. This includes connecting to cloud-based printing, benefitting from self-healing Wi-Fi, and getting notifications to your smartphone when printing, scanning, or copying.
