Unveiled: CyberPowerPC with AMD Ryzen Processors

0Share

Following the soft launch of AMD’s Ryzen processors, based on the AM4 architecture, word has spread quickly about their performance, price, and availability. Slated to be released on March 2, these CPUS are aiming for the throne currently held by the Intel® Core™ i7 line. CyberPowerPC, a pre-built system retail company, has already outfitted a few of its models, such as the Gamer Master series with AMD Ryzen processors, including the Ryzen 7 1700, Ryzen 7 1700X, and even the Ryzen 7 1800X, which is currently AMD’s top-tier CPU. All three processors have eight cores and sixteen threads for immense multi-core processing power. On top of that, all Ryzen processors are unlocked, allowing you to over-clock them with a compatible motherboard for even better performance.

Like Intel, AMD has adopted a similar approach to naming and classifying their Ryzen processors. Premium or top-tier models are dubbed the Ryzen 7, midrange ones as Ryzen 5, and the more affordable ones as Ryzen 3. The pre-built CyberPowerPC systems are available in a variety of configurations with varying RAM and storage capacities, as well as graphical processing power—sporting NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 10-series graphics cards, such as the GTX 1060, GTX 1070, and GTX 1080. Users looking to support the red team all the way should know that there are also AMD Radeon RX-equipped systems available, and AMD Vega-equipped systems coming soon. Moreover, Gamer Master series computers feature LED lighting and come with a RGB USB keyboard and mouse so you can start gaming right out of the box.
