Experience 2560 x 1440 native resolution in all its glory, on the 27" display of the Wacom Cintiq 27QHD. With four times the resolution of 720p, the Cintiq 27QHD graphic display panel offers true-to-life color, while giving you high clarity and color sensitivity in creative areas like image editing and 3D animation. With 1.07 billion colors, it is able to display 97% of Adobe RGB color gamut, as well as REC 709 for frame-to-frame color matching, and you'll be able to explore color management at its finest. It also features an AHVA LCD panel, which is Wacom's proprietary IPS technology. The panel allows for a 178° wide viewing angle, which allows people to fully appreciate the beauty of their work without the colors being washed out.

The QHD resolution isn't the only standout of the Cintiq 27QHD. It also features Wacom's patented pen technology with up to 2,048 levels of tip and eraser pressure sensitivity, a resolution of 5,080 lines per inch, and 40° of tilt recognition. The included cordless, battery-free Pro Pen allows you to control your pressure sensitive software tools simply by changing how hard you press the pen tip or eraser on the screen. The frame that surrounds the display provides a resting place for forearms and hands, which allows you to work comfortably. The screen on this display has a completely flat surface from edge to edge. This enables your pen hand to glide over the entire surface without obstruction. The included ExpressKey Remote has 17 custom application-specific keys and a finger-sensitive Touch Ring for access to time-saving shortcuts. It's also separate from the actual Cintiq display to ensure an edge-to-edge glass screen.

The Wacom Cintiq 27QHD is both Mac and Windows compatible. This display employs standard connection options to work with all primary platforms. It has a USB port for pen input, as well as an HDMI and DisplayPort for video. A DVI-D to HDMI adapter and a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter are included for further compatibility. Just owning a Wacom Cintiq 27QHD also has its perks. You gain access to the Wacom Cloud, where you can store and share images between devices. Also, be sure to register your Cintiq 27QHD to take advantage of the Wacom Privileges program. As the owner of a registered Cintiq 27QHD, you'll be eligible for savings on graphical software and Cintiq accessories.

I have only two simple questions:

1) Can this device be used as a display for a Windows 7 desktop computer, will full compatibility with PhotoShop and other picture-manipulating software?

2) If the answer to the above is yes, does this device offer vertical positioning of the display?

I am amazed that these essential aspects of operation are not addressed in your description.

This tablet may be used as a display monitor when connected to a computer via it's HDMI (Windows PC) or DisplayPort (Mac) inputs.

The image cannot be rotated and re-sized for vertical orientation.
