Covering 100% of the sRGB color space, 99.8% of the Adobe RGB color space, 95.5% of the DCI-P3 color space, and 80.0% of the Rec 2020 color space, the NEC PA243W-BK 24.1" 16:10 Wide Gamut IPS Monitor is designed for graphic design, video editing, and other projects that require color accuracy. Along with enhanced color accuracy, this NEC monitor offers a variety of built-in picture modes such as sRGB, Adobe RGB, DCI, DICOM, REC-BT709, and High Brightness mode, to help ensure the most accurate color representation possible.
If extensive coverage of five different color spaces isn’t enough, the NEC PA243W-BK monitor also features an IPS panel with a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 1000:1 static contrast ratio, a 350 cd/m2 brightness rating, and support for 1.07 billion displayable colors out of 4.3 trillion through the 10-bit DisplayPort and HDMI inputs. Along with DisplayPort and HDMI inputs, this NEC monitor also comes equipped with DVI-D and VGA inputs, making this monitor compatible with nearly any computer configuration. You can also connect your USB-compatible peripherals directly to the display via the 3-port USB 3.1 hub, which also supports DisplaySync Pro, allowing the USB hub to act as a KVM switch making it possible to control up to two computers using a single keyboard and mouse.
For color critical applications that require even greater color accuracy, the NEC PA243W-BK-SV 243W-BK 24.1" 16:10 Wide Gamut IPS Monitor comes with the SpectraView II color calibration system. With the SpectraView II color calibrator display adjustments can be made automatically, because the calibration sensor can speak directly to the video graphics adapter. With the SpectraView II, you can also save multiple calibration sets, eliminating the need to recalibrate the monitor each time you begin a project.
Configuring your NEC PA243W-BK monitor may seem like a daunting task. Fear not—these monitors support the NEC MultiProfiler application designed to simplify the process of choosing between picture modes. With this application, you can configure specific presets to accommodate each color setting, as well as the ability to load an ICC profile directly to the display. The MultiProfiler tool also allows you to choose your picture-in-picture settings along with the ability to incorporate an additional video input to your display, making it possible to control two computers simultaneously.
