Using a self portrait, a shot I captured of the NYC skyline during the blood moon and a street in Brooklyn, I wanted to create a vibrant fall theme that captures the beauty of NYC. Lets have a stroll through NYC, where we have bright lights, tall buildings, infinite noise, but we also have calm areas, where sunrise or sunset, you can sit back and enjoy the beauty of a famous skyline while also enjoying a peaceful walk, even during the fall. NYC, a world of its own. My process was changing the color tone to more warm colors to visualize the fall, removing any surrounding people and adding leaves falling with the brush tool along with removing the license plate numbers and logo from any visible car. I isolated myself from the original photo and made the light source come from the back, so I added a shadow and highlights the edges of myself to showcase light was coming from the back.I didnt want to focus on the nightlife thats mainly spent in Manhattan, so as the photo goes more towards the back, the more out of focus it is with the help of gaussion blur and the blur tool. Along the way, overlapping gradients and using blending modes to give a unique tone to the photo.
