As a photographer who enjoys seascape and landscape photography, I like to capture the often overlooked scenes along the Jersey shore. During an early morning search for shorebirds along the beach in Belmar I spotted several fishermen, but the lone figure on the end of the jetty caught my eye. The scene was a bit dull, but I envisioned what it could be on a crisp spring morning. Back at the computer I decided to include a few additional elements photographed nearby that same morning and add a golden hue to enhance the colors from the sunrise that was starting to occur. The image was enhanced using Photoshop CC2017 and Nik Color Efex.
