This was our nephew's first visit to Florida and his first time seeing the ocean. My fiancee's family lives in Iowa, and during their visit last year, they wanted me to capture his first beach trip. One of the photos involved sitting him on one of the large boulders along the sand. Seeing as that we was just over 6 months old, his dad had to keep him steady. For the final composition, which was going to be enlarged and also showcased during his 1st birthday, they wanted it to look like he was sitting there solo. So, I used good ol' Photoshop to enhance the beautiful scenery and take dad's arm out of the shot. We joked that while it's now a great shot of August and the Atlantic, some might think they actually let him sit on a rock by himself.
