Often Roseburg, Oregon is cloudy. The sky so often gives off a white background, so I find myself having to edit alot. I take the best shot I can. Under the cloudy sky it creates a light diffusor, so that's a plus when wanting to mitigate harsh shadows. To true up the photo I use a bit of Elements 14 to bring up the saturation, remove unwanted features from the shot and finish off with Landscape Pro for the sky swap and adjust light in various places. Shooting in RAW helps. This particular picture was shot in jpeg with a traditional point & click camera.
