This was an amazing hike up to Spy Rock back when I lived in Charlottesville, Virginia and I was the co-leader of a hiking group. I met my wife in that group. Unfortunately since that time I've had cancer in my leg and hiking isn't really a possibility for me anymore. I still have adventures on an assisted recumbent trike now but this picture and all the others I took back then represent one of the best times of my life and looking back on the amazing things I've done makes me truly happy. That's what this photo and photography means to me.
