History should be preserved in all forms, be it a Revolutionary War battle site, an original painting of George Washington, or a Douglas DC-3 aircraft. The need to preserve the history of an airplane that shaped modern air travel and served our country so gallantly in World War II is what inspired me to capture this amazing aircraft. The airplane is so photogenic and so filled with the history of a bygone era that it's photograph, in a sense, captured and edited itself. "DC-3 Legacy" is not just a photo of a another airplane, it is a glimpse back into time.
