I like my images sharp, and crystal clear in the center around the eyes. I feel as though it makes people feel closer to the animal. However, getting these crystal clear images through foggy swamp-like enclosure glass is near impossible. After capture editing is almost always necessary for me when I go on photography trip, but do not have the funds to go out of state to capture these types of animals. I use the sharpening feature in lightroom to drastically bring out the texture of this small caiman. After my image is completely sharp, I brought out the colors that accented his eyes, and made clear the reflection.
