I was drawn to the different elements that form the dune and how the light and shadows emphasize certain elements over others. I waited for a person to walk into the frame prior to taking the picture. This gives the image a sense of scale.
What this image means to me: We will always be very small when compared to Nature, despite our attempts to modify and change it.
