The photo is a composite of two photographs that I took at the MCAS Beaufort Air Show. The Marine F-35B jet was demonstrating the ability to hover.
I took the original photo of the F-35B and cropped the image and corrected the exposure and other aspects of the photo to bring out the detail. I wanted a dramatic photo so I used another photo I had taken at the same air show, of a Wall of Flames, and used it as a background for the F-35B..
