This photo is special to me because it was the first photo I took on a 6,000 mile long road trip through the western half of the United States. When we pulled into Glacier National Park, we saw the beginning of what would later turn into a massive wildfire. This photo was hard to edit as I wanted to keep certain elements without spilling over into others. For example, keeping the blacks/shadows down, while highlighting the stars in the sky and the fire burning in the distance.
