I was looking to capture and image with amazing texture when I met this incredible African Gray Parrot. Unfortunately, I was armed only with my iPhone, so could not shoot with the control I wanted. So I took my image into Snapseed. I used a double-exposure tool to composite an image with better focus on the actual nails. Then, I used a blur tool to create depth of field, and used sharpening and detailing on the claw to get better texture.
