The approach for this photo was composing the shot in a low angle and using the movement of the clouds as converging lines for a "spookier feel". I added a small flood light in the bottom to emphasize the color mood and texture in the foreground. The editing process was then raising the shadows and controlling the highlights, adding a graduated filter on the floor with clarity to give the floor texture. White Balance was adjusted to complement the two main colors; blue and orange. A radial filter was used to illuminate the moon on the sign with a warm WB. Lastly, the inspiration for the added bats came from seeing Disneyland's commercial for the event, which they animated bats coming out from the character Oogie Boogie.
The intention of the final shot is to get that spooky, yet friendly, invitation to check out the new Halloween additions to the Disneyland Resort.
