When I uploaded the photos from the model shoot this particular split-second capture of her dance instantly gave me the impression of a tree. I recalled the Greek myth of Daphne and Apollo where she is transformed into a tree and the idea for this composite was inspired. The background photo, shot on vacation just a few weeks prior, provided exactly the composition and atmosphere I envisioned.
