They say the best camera is the one you always have with you. In this case, I found myself at the top of this mountain range road with nothing but my phone. None-the-less, I framed my shot to include everything that I though made the scene memorable, and snapped the picture. Upon reviewing the image, I wasn't a big fan of the colors, as it was a really cloudy rainy day on the mountain which made the original look washed out. As a result, I decided to experiment with black and white. It gives this image more life in my opinion; highlighting the most important aspects while allowing it to be really easy too look at, at the same time. Disappointed I didn't have my "big" camera that day, but I'm very glad I was able to still capture this memorable scene.
