I pass the New Yorker hotel in Midtown Manhattan pretty much on a daily basis but really wanted to capture a shot not usually observed by most. This shot is of the back of the building (taken from West facing East). I spent weeks looking for the right shot and weather/lighting conditions. The color changes and enhancements were inspired by contemporary light artists who make use of fluorescent light as an artistic medium.
