I'm an amateur artist and not really a photographer. So the photos I take are used for reference to create my artworks. I seldom edit or enhance the photos to be used as a final product. There was something about the original photo that encouraged me to enhance it. Once I was finished, I was pleased with the way it looked, so I kept the photo in its final form, and didn't use it as reference for a painting. In this case, I felt the photo would do more justice to the scene than a painting. I used Affinity Photo to process the photograph.
