What a wonderful yet cold... cold January night off Lake Superior's North Shore! While I was there with a few others to capture the Wolf's Moon rising over this now decommissioned lighthouse, my 4 hour drive seemed even longer as I watched the clouds coming in. To our great fortune, the lighthouse keeper kept our spirits high by using some leftover fuel to light up this monumental lighthouse, an extremely rare event in itself. I felt lucky just to be there and as one of the last die hards still standing out in the freezing cold, I feel I did pretty well with the opportunity I was given.
