I took this photo during a one month solo camping trip in Iceland in November of 2016. After leaving a position with a private equity company in NYC, this trip focused my ambition to become a professional photographer. I brought a winter tent and arctic sleeping bag on the flight from Toronto. During the 14hr nights, I collected photos of the northern lights. I hiked in the mountains during the day to capture landscapes. While traveling between locations, I stopped at a glacial access point on the Icelandic "ring road". A large wind storm hit the location and I was able to capture the blizzard rolling across the glacier. After capturing this photo, I left the location in hurry to take shelter at a near by gas station
