I had made my way to the mezzanine seating of the auditorium, and was watching the performance through the viewfinder when the lights rotated down and stopped for a brief moment. I pressed the shutter and was optimistic that I had captured a 'moment'.
In post I was pleased with the black and white treatment, and zoom allowed for striking content. This finished photo means that I can make and share a photo that people admire, and that evokes an emotional response - one that compels them to look for more than a moment.
