What I like to do when making candid street photographs, is to keep my camera to my eye and walk with it, trying not to trip, I see life unfold through the viewfinder of my camera, this allows me to make quick pin-point decisions on when to release the shutter. I wait for the moment as I look and release, sometimes holding in the shutter for multiple exposures, but never taking the camera off my eye, so long as I'm shooting.
