It didn't happen at one time, but photographs beginning with a sunset before dark to a night shot of a monument dramatically lit, are combined using Adobe Photoshop. With a camera on a tripod, so all photographs will perfectly align, and a final image fully imagined, several photographs are made. One so the bronze statues of the soldiers have full detail, one of the sky during the height of the sunset, and one with the monument lit with the dramatic blue light and white lit niches. Put them together in layers in Photoshop, do a little erasing here and there and the final image is an explosion of color to honor our veterans.
