As photographers, we always hope for unobstructed views. When I shot a burst toward the Blue Jay, this image had the best view of the bird but the feeder was an undesirable obstacle.The key here is to save the image and maintain the integrity speculating on what the view would have been without the feeder. Having a mishmash of vines and bushes in the background helps here cloning as well as a full view of one wing. Lassoing/copying the wing and then flipping it horizontally was the first step and then rotating/skewing it was the next . Using the clone and smudge tools helped to make the wing different from the original. The challenge for all of us when using these techniques is to not have the image look Photshopped.
