CES 2019: Announcing Samsung 8K TVs

0Share

At CES 2019, Samsung announced three new sizes of 8K UHD TVs to follow up on its September announcement of the 85" Q900. The 65, 75, and 82" Q900 all feature full-array backlighting to produce even brightness levels across the panel and Ultra Black technology for enhanced contrast. Meeting 100% of the DCI-P3 color space means more accurate color quality in nearly everything you watch, and HDR10 support provides augmented brightness and color vibrancy with compatible content.

The included One Connect Box accepts all your inputs, including your antenna or cable line, and sends it to the TV with just one cable to help provide a neat, clutter-free appearance. Setting it apart, the 82" also includes the Samsung No-Gap wall mount, so you can mount the display virtually flush to the wall right out of the box.

Ambient Mode enables the TV to blend in with the wall behind it, and you can overlay it with a piece of artwork, personal photo, or important information like the time and weather. Bixby Voice, app capability via the Smart Hub, a full web browser, and screen mirroring to or from your compatible device further add to the convenience features of this QLED line.
