Three new InFocus projectors have arrived, and with 5000 lumens of brightness or more, they’re sure to illuminate your presentations. Starting with the IN3144: it outputs 5000 lumens and features XGA 1024 x 768 resolution for text and graphics. It sports a 1.83 to 2.75:1 throw ratio, which enables images up to 270" diagonal from about 33' from your display surface, allowing you to place the projector far in the back of the room, where it won’t be heard.
The IN3148HD also features 5000 lumens of brightness, but with Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution for detailed videos and images. This model has a shorter (but still relatively long) 1.46 to 2.2:1 throw ratio, allowing it to be placed the same 33' from the screen, producing images up to 318".
If you think 5000 lumens isn’t bright enough, the IN3146 might be more up your alley: it outputs 5500 lumens, making it better suited for brighter environments. Its resolution is a bit higher than the IN3144, at WXGA 1280 x 800, and it has the same throw ratio and image size capabilities as the IN3148HD.
All three models have S-Video, composite video, two HDMI, and two VGA ports, giving you plenty of connectivity options. For permanent or high-tech installations, these projectors are compatible with Crestron Roomview, AMX Device Discovery, and InFocus ProjectorNet control and management software. They also support 3D via DLP Link, with compatible 3D glasses available separately, and include a VGA cable and an IR remote control.
Of course, if you need help choosing a projector, InFocus or otherwise, the knowledgeable salespeople at B&H will be happy to help in the SuperStore, over the phone at 800-606-6969, or via chat or email.
