The Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 is a multitalented camera for attaching to your computer screen. It captures 1080p video and 10MP still images, and it enables 720p online video chatting. High-quality stereo microphones flank a real Carl Zeiss autofocus lens.
Even if you own a PC with built-in camera and mic, the C910 is a worthy upgrade at a time when free voice- and video-calling is proliferating.
At the heart of the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 is a Carl Zeiss lens (right) built to take in more light than the tiny lenses embedded in most notebooks. If your webcam's lens isn't good, your image quality won't be any better—no matter how many megapixels are crowded on the sensor. Carl Zeiss optics is designed to produce razor-sharp images with maximum detail and minimal distortion. The Full HD 1080p Webcam enables you to record in breathtaking widescreen 1080p video. One-click upload to YouTube or Facebook is empowered by the included software. For live video calling on most major instant video-messaging services and Logitech Vid HD (included in the setup), you'll get 720p. Even if you make a video call in dim or poorly backlit settings, the camera will intelligently adjust to produce the best possible image using RightLight 2 technology. The camera also lets you take high-definition 10-megapixel snapshots (software enhanced).
The solid dual microphones are also superior to the dot-like mics you'll find on some computers. They include Logitech RightSound technology to help ensure that your voice comes through crisp and clear. Sophisticated algorithms analyze the entire spectrum of sound that the stereo mics pick up, isolating your voice from ambient audio like the computer's fan or your neighbor's lawnmower. The result is that people at the other end of the call hear you—not your background. The Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 clips onto any computer monitor—flat screen or CRT—or any portable running Windows XP or higher. It connects to a USB port on your computer with the included 5-foot cable. The C910 measures 7.6 x 3.4 x 8.9 inches and weighs 1.2 pounds.
A face-recognition routine (right) lets you log onto your computer and your favorite sites with the included FastAccess software. You'll be able to add Logitech Video Effects (left) to your video calls. Unleashing your inner avatar, you can rotate between toothy shark, dinosaur, Elvis impersonator and sock puppet, among other characters. Or you can just put on a face accessory such as a pirate hat, crown, scuba mask, vampire teeth or antlers. You can also apply photographic filters or manipulate your video in real time: twist your face, change colors or become a chalkboard drawing.
Logitech includes the Magix Photo Manager for organizing your photos and fixing blemishes as well as the Magix Video Easy program for editing your video recordings. So, with the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910, you not only get a powerful webcam with stereo mics that together become a powerful peripheral for your computer, but you also get a ton of useful and fun software. Isn't it time to input higher-quality audio and video into your computer before you share yourself with the world?

Does it have the zoom feature of the revue web cam?
THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST GEAR AND COMMUNICATIONS SOFTWARE
Does it work for Macs? I am having trouble with my Mac Cinema Display, the mic is lousy. Would it work with that and on my NoteBook Pro?
Thanks,
Helcio
