New QLED TVs from Samsung

Samsung’s new lines of QLED TVs are arriving, and there is quite the variety to choose from. The Q60 series, for instance, is available in 49", 65", and 75" sizes, which feature 4K UHD resolution, Quantum HDR 4x, support for the HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG HDR formats, and are controllable via Bixby, the Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa. Motion Rate 240 technology (Motion Rate 120 for the 49”) helps smooth out fast-moving on-screen images, reducing the blur of a thrown basketball or a fast car.

The Q70 series, available in 49", 55", and 75" sizes, features the added benefit of a full-array backlight to provide more uniform light levels across the screen, and double the speaker power at a total of 40W. Once again, the 49" features Motion Rate 120, while the others have smoother images with Motion Rate 240. Quantum HDR 8x, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG support and voice control by Bixby, the Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa rounding out the major features of the Q70 series.
