
JBL and Harman Kardon just unveiled their new line of virtual assistant-compatible speakers, and with two portable and two stationary models available, there’s sure to be something for everyone. The AC-powered Harman Kardon Invoke, available in graphite or silver, is the sole Cortana-enabled model that features a cylindrical design and offers 360° sound from its three tweeters and three woofers. It also has two bass radiators for enhanced low-frequency effect. Voice-activated Bluetooth compatibility, Skype calling, and streaming from music services, such as Pandora and iHeartRadio, round out the features of offered by the Invoke.
All three JBL models are powered by the Google Assistant, and have Bluetooth and Chromecast built in. Two of them, the Link 10 (black/white) and Link 20 (black/white), are portable and IPX7 waterproof-rated, with a built-in 5- or 10-hour battery and 16 or 20 total Watts of power, respectively. The Link 300, also available in black or white, requires AC power and outputs up to 50 Watts.
