Introducing the New Payboo® Credit Card

B&H is excited to announce its new and improved B&H Payboo® Credit Card, which now offers cardholders the choice between B&H’s “Save the Tax” instant savings benefit in eligible states or special financing on qualifying purchases made with the card.

For those customers unfamiliar with B&H’s innovative “Save the Tax” benefit, here’s how it works: When customers select “Payboo Savings” and use their Payboo® Card at checkout, B&H applies an instant reward equal to the sales tax the customer paid directly to their order. No rebate, no waiting—customers will receive the reward instantly and see it applied to their order. Alternatively, when an order qualifies for “Special Financing” offers (for example: “No interest if paid in full in 12 months”), customers can select a promotional credit plan instead of “Payboo Savings.”

The new Payboo® Card, issued by Comenity Capital Bank, continues to be exclusively for use at B&H and replaces B&H’s prior separate Payboo and Financing credit cards issued by Synchrony Bank. This change enables B&H to continue offering customers the exceptional benefits of Payboo® Instant Savings and Special Financing for the long term, while adding greater payment option flexibility on a single credit card. Unfortunately, however, prior B&H cardholders―of  Payboo and Financing Cards―will need to apply for the new Payboo® Card, because Synchrony accounts will not transfer. You can click here or visit the NYC SuperStore for all the details.

If you are a B&H Synchrony credit card holder, please keep the following points in mind or visit these FAQs for further information on how to manage your account.

  • Your Synchrony card account will no longer be valid for new purchases placed after January 17, 2022.

  • Synchrony accounts will remain open to process charges for any outstanding orders, pre-orders or backorders placed by January 17 through April 3, 2022.

  • Synchrony will close outstanding accounts on April 4, 2022 (rest assured, a special code will be used to inform credit bureaus that the account was closed due to a program termination, not based on a customer’s credit quality).

If you have any questions about the new Payboo® Credit Card program, email B&H directly.
