Hobolite has announced the Avant Max and Mini Max bi-color LED lights, both of which are offered in various kits with unique accessories and colorway options. Designed for photo and video content creators, these lights have impressive illumination, a stylish aesthetic, and impressive build quality.
Starting with the Avant Max Standard and Avant Max Creator kits, these bi-color continuous LED lights provide 80W of illumination and have an output of 9005 lux at 3.3' (6500K), with a CCT from 2700K to 6500K, dimming control from 0% to 100%, and an excellent CRI and TLCI rating of 96. This vintage design LED light is complemented by modern functions that create an intuitive user experience including knurled control knobs and an LCD screen for adjusting settings easily, a magnetic mounting system for color gels, and Bluetooth and NFC tap support.
Both Avant Max kits come equipped with a 99Wh battery, AC dual port adapter, Avant Max Lens, Max Handle, 100W power supply, D-tap cable, and an AC cord. For users looking for increased lighting control and more artistic options, the Avant Max Creator Kit provides a Max Barndoor Set with color gels and a V-mount clamp.
The Mini Max features a smaller and lighter design than the Avant Max, making it the ideal on-the-go choice. It has a versatile 20-50° lens, a 40W output at 7325 lux at 3.3' (6500K). Just like the Avant Max, the Mini Max has a CCT from 2700K to 6500K, dimming control from 0% to 100%, and a CRI and TLCI of 96.
Accommodating varying needs, Hobolite offers the Mini Max in three distinct kit variants: Standard, Creator, and Travel. The Standard kit includes a 99Wh battery, Mini Max lens, Max handle, a USB-C cable, and a 65W power adapter. In addition to these accessories, the Creator kit comes equipped with a Max Barndoor Set with color gels and an AC dual port adapter. Lastly, the Travel kit provides an AC dual port adapter, a Mini Max lens, Max LiteDock with a USB-C cable, color gels, a frosted dome, and a 65W power adapter. The Mini Max Travel kit does not include the 99Wh battery that comes with the Standard and Creator kits. Therefore, it relies on the Max LiteDock's 3450 mAh power bank, which helps optimize its portability and convenience.
